The Services of a Medium

They sit on the rostrum looking out at the pleading faces all around
Those who have come to them in hope
The ones who find it hard to cope
All with loved ones that have passed on
Some unable to believe they have gone
Their grief sometimes hard to bear
Seeking some great comfort there
Along with the sceptics seeking proof
The faithful who know the truth
With help from their spirit guide
They pass on messages from the other side
A medium cant perform miracles, just for you
Only pass on what comes through
They relate the messages they receive
From loved ones to the bereaved
Those who invent or pretend
Are always found out in the end
Few are those with the gift or faith
Some unable to stick the pace
Others fail through doubt or fear
Because the messages are not always clear
To those who always doubt the truth
The message will provide the proof
That there is a better afterlife
Free from pain, trouble and strife
The demonstration over the work is done
There was not the time to reach everyone
Others reunited for a short time
Makes the service worth their while.

Indian Joe

As a child I called you Indian Joe
Where you came from I did not know
You were my friend no one else could see
Always walking by the side of me
The bond between us was so strong
You always knew when something was wrong
Whenever I was ill or feeling low
I could always rely on Indian Joe
The things I could not understand
You would always take me by the hand
And explain that not everyone was like me
Or be able to feel and see the things I see
Sometimes they would laugh and just poke fun
Saying I was weird and a real funny one
I did not know then, you were my guide
And came to me from the spirit side
Through the years you,ve helped me
To make sense of the things I feel and see
Taught me many lessons of how life should be
Guided by my spirit and not materially
You link me with other helpers and guides
That you bring to me from the other side
To help with healing and philosophy
When they return you are still with me
You have been with me since before my birth
And I know when it is time to leave this earth
Knowing our work on earth is done
Together as spirit we will bond as one

A Reason, A Season or a Lifetime

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.
When you  know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person..
When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.
They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually.
They may seem like a Godsend and they are.
They are there for the reason you need them to be.
Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
What we  must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done.
The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn.
They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.
They may teach you something you have never done.
They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.
Believe it.  It is real.  But only for a season

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to
have a solid emotional foundation.
Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to
use in all other relationships and areas of your life.
It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

Thank you for being a part of my life. . . . . . .
. . .. . . . whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime.

Shortened Story

This is a story about a young boy (Alan) and his dog(Lucky). It all started some 14 years ago when Alan was given Lucky as a Christmas present, a squirming, wriggling bundle of joy. They grew up together thro the seasons and the years, both loving each other and an unbearable ache to be separated. Schooldays being the worst Alan with his head in the clouds day dreaming of getting home and playing ball or frisbee with Lucky ,While Lucky would be at home with Mum, eagerly awaiting Alans return home and to meet him with a leap & a bound, knocking him over, followed by the deluge of licks .
The nights were the best curled up by the fire or on the end of Alans bed , one not being out of arms reach of the other. Thro the years each developed a canny knack of knowing what the other wanted before any word or bark was uttered. But as the years rolled by so did Lucky begin to age, slower and with the aches of age. Till one day he succumbed to his ailments and Mam & Dad said best take him to the Vets. Seriously ill Alan and his family were given grave news, so as they stood around with Alan petting his much loved friend Lucky slipped away.
Strangely over the next few days Alans family noticed that Alan seemed to accept Lucky passing and asked him why so easily, Alan replied " Everybody Human & Animal is born into this world from Spirit to learn to live a good life-like being good to everybody and caring for other's, well animals especially Lucky already know how to do that so they dont have to stay as long.

For all the animals of this world
Thank you.
